Hey guys, I'm an IT guy out of Dallas, Texas and I decided to build a shipping container home myself using Youtube. I don't have any professional trade skills other than working on cars in my teens and I've never built a house myself by doing plumbing, drywall etc.. This is all new to me.
This is my progress so far on building with (2) 40' high cube shipping containers. I am planning on installing the kitchen this weekend. It's been a fun learning experience so far and I def respect the trades a lot more. I have gotten more satisfaction out of building my own home than ever buying one. It's really been awesome. Hope you guys enjoy it.
